Who We Are
The Farmers and Traders Welfare Association of Rivers State, Nigeria, is an organization aimed at promoting the interests and welfare of farmers and traders within the region. The association focuses on various key objectives designed to uplift communities, improve livelihoods, and drive sustainable development across Rivers State.
Our Objectives

Representing the interests of farmers and traders in policy discussions with government bodies and reforms to support agricultural and trade activities.

Providing training, seminars, conferences, resources, and support to enhance the skills and knowledge of members, helping them improve productivity and adopt modern farming practices.

Facilitating collective marketing of agricultural products to ensure better prices and market access for farmers and traders.

Assisting members in accessing loans and financial services that support their farming and trading activities.

Promoting the sharing of resources, information, and best practices among members to foster growth and collaboration across the region.

Creating opportunities for networking among farmers, traders, and other stakeholders within the agricultural and trade sectors to enhance cooperation and partnerships.

FTWA campaigns for quality education funding assistance for underprivileged children in the South-South Region, Nigeria, West Africa.
